While some fans may find Peri annoying and others find her utterly beguiling, it can certainly be agreed that she's a beautiful and often overlooked companion. Peri may be more used to filling the 'damsel in distress' role than being a strong leader like other contenders on this list, however she has many admirable and attractive qualities which would make her a truly enjoyable choice to take on a date. Her endless patience with the (often prickly) Sixth Doctor shows that she's used to tolerating the foibles and quirks of the men in her life and she has a great capacity for knowledge and adventure, too.
