14 Things Fox Wants You To Forget About The Simpsons

6. And Quagmire Raping Marge And Killing The Family

Family Guy Quagmire Marge Simpson

Sticking on the topics of Family Guy and, er, rape, Fox once again found themselves dealing with a mess involving a crossover (of sorts) between the two shows.

Although this one wasn't an official crossover, the scene in question - taken from the second episode of the sixth question - sees a miniature version of Quagmire rape a mini Marge while the proper size Griffins look on. Marge then gives in to Quagmire, and has sex with him again in the Simpson's house, before Quagmire shoots the whole family - though it's left ambiguous as to whether he kills Maggie, or Maggie kills him.

Fox refused to include the scene in the show, which led to Seth McFarlane complaining The Simpsons could make fun of them, but they couldn't make fun of The Simpsons. Simpsons producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean were reportedly upset with the gag, and it led to Fox saying the shows couldn't make fun of each other from that point on.

However, the scene did make it onto a DVD set as an extra feature. It is... not funny, at all.
