Though Amanda Seyfried came to prominence with 2008's Mamma Mia! and scored acclaim for her work in 2012's Les Miserables, the majority of her other work has been fairly low-effort paycheck fare, and so we're hoping she might break out by becoming another of David Lynch's iconic blondes.

Who Is She Playing?: There's a lot of fan speculation that she might be playing a recast Annie Blackburn, as Heather Graham was among the few significant actors not returning despite still working in movies full-time.

In case you don't remember, Annie appeared in the show's final six episodes as well as the movie, forging a very unique bond with Cooper. The main thing working against Seyfried playing this character is the age discrepancy: Graham is now 46 years old, while Seyfried is only 30.

Then again, considering the absolute headf*** Lynch is preparing for us, we could probably let the age thing slide.
