2. Ma Petite - Freak Show
There were many troubled souls that found a home in Elsa Mars' Cabinet of Curiosities, and while a lot of them were far from virtuous, there haven't been many American Horror Story characters as innocent as Ma Petite.
The world's smallest human being was one of the first members of the Jupiter troupe of performers, after Elsa traded three cases of Dr. Pepper to keep her in America with her.
Naturally, she was the easiest target for Stanley and Maggie when they arrived looking for human oddities to sell off, and while Emma Roberts' character ultimately couldn't go through with killing Ma Petite, Dell Toldeo's conscious shared no such misgivings.
The travelling strongman agreed to kill the woman for Stanley, which he did by physically squeezing the life out of her. This was an awful way for such a sweet person to meet her end, and was easily one of the most heartbreaking deaths American Horror Story ever put on screen. Thankfully, Dell ultimately got his comeuppance, but this didn't help fans get over what he did any easier.
