3. Lights Out (Season 7, Episode 13)
The season seven finale is nothing short of a masterstroke, signalling the next big step in Jake and Amy's relationship whilst also giving the 99 their most difficult set of challenges to date.
After a city-wide blackout strikes Brooklyn, a heavily pregnant Amy is forced to take charge of the precinct as Holt and Terry find themselves stuck in the elevator. Meanwhile, Jake and Charles rush to figure out the origins of the blackout and end up foiling a bank robbery.
Oh, and Amy goes into labour, because as ever timing is no one's strong suit on this show.
Lights Out bring out too many emotions to count, from the hilarity of seeing Holt and Terry dancing to distract Amy from her contractions to Jake and Charles doing everything in their power to get back to the precinct.
It's a stressful and funny time, and ends with the introduction of Jake and Amy's son Mac, and the promise of a top tier final season.
