In it, The Professor finds a way to venture into into other universes, and though he forbids the crew from entering his contraption, which is just a nondescript box, they inevitably find themselves clashing with numerous alternate realities.
Allowing the crew to come face-to-face with alternate versions of themselves leads to some brilliant moments of fan service and genuinely laugh-out-loud interactions - especially from the two conniving Zoidbergs - the episode is an ensemble piece that uses all its characters beautifully, digging into what makes each of them so unique with memorable results.
