Series finales have always been a mixed bag. Sure, it's hard to end a long-running show in a way that will please everybody, but some shows have really dropped the ball over the years. Not Scrubs, though. Before being brought back for a lacklustre ninth season the following year, the medical sitcom really did have the perfect ending with My Finale.

As JD plans to move away to be closer to his son, his friends all bid their heartfelt goodbyes and JD remembers his time at the hospital. He even manages to get a genuinely sweet farewell from Cox, who finally reveals his true feelings for the younger doctor.

As he leaves the hospital, JD imagines getting a massive send-off from old characters, some long-dead, and steps out to begin a whole new chapter in his life. Scrubs ended without fault, and to date My Finale remains one of the show's best-ever episodes.
