Better Call Saul can lay a strong claim to being the best show on television right now. The Breaking Bad spin-off/prequel has gone from strength-to-strength every year, and Season 3 is even managing to top its sublime sophomore year.

Right in the middle of the season came Chicanery, which saw the show go full courtroom drama as the rivalry between Chuck and Jimmy spilled into legal action. The whole episode is an absolute masterclass across the board, gradually building towards its final, dramatic conclusion.

With Chuck using his illness to his advantage, it transpires Jimmy had tricked him all along. Huell(!) had planted a cell phone inside Chuck's jacket, which had been there the entire time without him realising it. It's a victory of sorts of Jimmy, but the moment itself, and what it means for the brothers, is one of sobering tragedy, and a defining point for the series in an episode that confirms its status (if it was in doubt) as must-watch TV.
