12. The Drunken Master Fight - Iron Fist

Episode: The Blessing of Many Fractures

Iron Fist was the first critical failure of the Netflix Marvel Universe, and indeed the worst received of any Marvel Cinematic Universe project. It's not hard to see why either, with bland characters, an unlikable lead, badly choreographed action, and a really dull plot.

Annoyingly, the answer to a number of these problems is present in the show itself, when Lewis Tan's Zhou Cheng turns up in the eighth episode. Tan initially auditioned for the role of Danny Rand, and it's hard to understand how he didn't get it, because when he does appear in the show he's simply brilliant.

Playing the Drunken Master, Tan is clearly the only person in the show having a great time. It makes for the series' best action scene, which is both well-choreographed and genuinely funny, and makes him a character you immediately want to see more of.
