Appeared in: Season 2, Episode 2 - "Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been" The Thesulac demon is a paranoia demon that lives in a non-corporeal state as it feeds off the paranoia of human beings, often whispering lies and wearing at their self-esteem in an effort to further that paranoia. When Angel first encounters the demon at the Hyperion Hotel in the 1950s, he is so hurt by events - by guests at the hotel at the mercy of the demon - that he leaves to beast to feast upon them, only to return in 2000 to summon it (forcing it to take on its corporeal form, a humanoid figure with long tentacles instead of legs) so he can slay the demon once and for all. What's so creepy about it? The way it plays on your worst fears, and will drag that out for decades, causing the paranoia to age like a fine wine.
