15 Most Deranged TV Psychopaths

10. Bloody Face - American Horror Story: Asylum

FXFX

With a name like €˜American Horror Story€™ you can bet this show has it€™s fair share of psychopaths but season 2€™s Bloody Face aka Oliver Thredson is one worthy of a place on this list. Thredson first appears as a psychiatrist sent to determine the sanity of Kit Walker; a man who has been accused of being Bloody Face. He deemed Kit guilty and insane, presumably to try and get himself off the hook.

Thredson clashed with the nuns of Briarcliffe over their treatment methods and dismissive attitude towards the science around which he has based his career. Thredson develops a trusting friendship with patient Lana Winters and eventually helps her escape. When they return to his house Lana notices several bizarre objects include a lampshade with a nipple. Realising Thredson isn€™t everything he made himself out to be, she tries to escape but stumbles upon a grizzly room full of body parts. Thredson then sends her to his €˜playroom€™ where she discovers the corpse of her girlfriend Wendy. Despite being rumbled Thredson stays active when Lana is returned to Briarcliffe and he is given a more permanent position by the demon-possessed Sister Mary Eunice.

Thredson is eventually killed by Lana after she escapes Briarcliffe and reveals his identity to the police. Particularly observant viewers won€™t have been shocked by the revelation that Thredson is Bloody Face. In one early scene, where a patient goes through an exorcism, the demon inside the patient turns to Thredson and says, €˜I love your work Bloody Face€™. Of course this went over our heads. Bloody Face spawned several copycats and his own son went on to continue what his father started.
