15 Doctor Who Actors Who Have Been In Game Of Thrones

15. David Verrey (PM Joseph Green/High Septon)

David Verrey appeared in Doctor Who back in Series 1 of the revival as Prime Minister Joseph Green, one of the politicians who had been skinned by the Slitheen and whose identity was being used to get the aliens into a position where they could launch nuclear missiles and turn the Earth into rocket fuel. His character didn't have a very good fate, getting blown up when a missile struck 10 Downing Street, but that's just what happens when you go up against the Doctor, isn't it? In Game of Thrones, he got a rather smaller role. He played the High Septon, the corrupt head of the Westerosi religion, in a couple of scenes. The Septon didn't have a much better fate than the Slitheen when they were torn apart by an angry mob from King's Landing outraged at Joffrey's rule, though that's probably a habitual hazard of being a bit-part character on Game of Thrones.
