6. Gallifrey Is In A Pocket Universe... And Nobody Knows What The Hell Is Going On Anymore
So after nearly a decade of being told otherwise, Gallifrey falls no more and the Time Lords have actually been resorted to their former glory in the confines of a pocket universe. Hurrah! No, wait... What?! So... where the hell is it, then?! What's the point of bringing back the Doctor's home planet if you're not actually going to bring it back? Or at least, not bring it back properly but then use it as a strategically placed plot device at the precise moment the Doctor needs a new regeneration cycle, before forgetting about it again until Missy lies about its whereabouts and the Doctor affirms that he actually does care about it after all by smashing up the TARDIS console. And then forgetting about it again. Seriously, Gallifrey's grand return better be pretty bloody spectacular after all of this narrative misdirection. If, of course, it ever even bloody happens.
