Betty White, The Golden Girls actress, guest stars as the group's Anthropology 101 professor, June Bauer, assigning her students to determine which of the nine tools in this box is the most important for survival. After a big fight, Jeff gives a Winger Speech on behalf of the study group, where he says the most important tool for survival is respect (to which Chang replies, "Ha! GAYYYY!).

However, this isn't the answer Bauer was looking for. She combines all nine weapons in the box to create a super weapon, and says to Jeff, "I'll use this to attack you, and you use respect to defend yourself." Bauer easily defeats Jeff with her weapon, knocking him out as Pierce tries to wake him up by tossing Bauer's drink, which is also her urine, in Jeff's face.

The only bad part of the scene is it led to Bauer's firing, which means she left the show after this episode and a brief cameo later in the season. However, before she leaves, she joins Troy and Abed in a sequel to their 101 rap.
