Thug for hire, Thor Gundersen (aka The Swede) sidles into town to assist Thomas Durant as an enforcer tasked with overseeing the comings-and-goings during the construction of the Union Pacific Railway. His rather questionable past (which involves an epiphany with a hearty side order of cannibalism) has morphed him into a man without morals. Hell squeeze information from anybody, then hang em and leave them for dead. He lacks any sense of loyalty and easily does an about face on so-called allies (Durant, for one.) His malice is unquestionable - casually killing innocents to manipulate his foes into doing what he wants. Season threes senseless murder of a quaint family was too brutal for words. Couldnt he just leave a nasty note?!
