15 Important Life Lessons We Learned From South Park
3. Sex Should Be Taught Everywhere
Sex education is a tricky topic in the real world. When do we teach it? How do we tell if were scaremongering or encouraging them to have risky sex? Nobody has the right answers and everyone always wants to just pass it onto the next guy. In Proper Condom Use, after a certain red rocket incident, the parents want to shift the responsibility of sex education onto the schools. The face behind the classroom? Ms. Choksondik and Mr. Mackey, which results in the girls fearing boys and the boys being none the wiser. And when the pair of teachers inevitably hook up, the lessons are thrown out the window in the heat of the moment. Evidently its an issue that should never be shamed or blamed and taught by everyone everywhere instead. So what is the answer to the question of when? As Chef always says, the right age to be ready for sex is 17. Why? Just because.
