4. Friendship First

Sometimes it€™s our friends who define who we are, and too often we toss them aside in favour of careers and relationships. We€™ve spent 17 years now with the boys of South Park and although we may no longer be friends with our 8-year-old buddies, we sure do wish for these guys to get along forever. Even though they can€™t stand Cartman now. In the episode Guitar Queero, Stan and Kyle are experts at Guitar Hero. Following the rock star cliché, they get noticed and begin their careers as a duo until their manager decides to drop Kyle. Choosing his career over friendship, Stan finds the pressure of the lifestyle overwhelming and starts chasing the dragon to Heroin Hero. However, that€™s even more unsatisfying, and he learns that he only really liked to play with his best friend. The life lesson is that there€™s no pleasure in doing things you loved to do with your friends without them there at least to cheer you on.
