6. Warden Pope Was A Real-Life Convict

It's ironic that the man with the most experience of being behind prison bars in the show is actually actor Stacy Keach who plays Warden Pope. In 1984, he was arrested and sentenced to nine months in a British jail after being caught in possession of 1.3oz of cocaine after a flight from France.
