Episode: Judge, Jury, Executioner (S2, E11)

This one’s not so much a continuity blunder or factual error but more a ‘WTF, TWD?! You’re really taking artistic licence too far’ kind of moment.

Back in Season 2 when young Carl Grimes was under the care of Lori ‘Mother of the Year’ Grimes and was basically allowed to wander off on a whim, he stumbled across a walker stuck in a muddy swamp and started chucking rocks off it.

Bit of a d*ck move and karma soon comes back and literally tries to bite him when the walker frees itself and grabs hold of his leg. He narrowly escapes and neglects to tell anyone about his little adventure in the woods.

Later, that very same walker lurches towards the farm where it suddenly has the strength to not only take down an adult cow but also subdue and disembowel sweet, sweet Dale and along with him all his mechanical knowledge of RVs but earlier couldn’t take down a sickly whippersnapper presumably still recovering from the gunshot wound to the gut he suffered a few episodes prior.
