Picking up from last year's string of stellar Stephen King adaptations, Castle Rock will bring together a number of characters and themes from the author's works for a whole new, original tale.

Set in the town of Castle Rock, the first season will focus on lawyer Henry Deaver (Andre Holland), who returns to the town to represent an inmate at Shawshank Penitentiary, based by IT star Bill Skarsgård.

The series has been created by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and Sam Shaw, and also stars original Carrie, Sissy Spacek. With Hulu's backing and some talented people involved, there's potentially for a great, psychological horror series filled with references for King fans.
