Yes, everyone is aware that Rod Serling's seminal Twilight Zone is critically beloved, and Get Out director Jordan Peele's recent revival of the series was also met with (somewhat overblown) adoration.
But the cornier, early CGI era 2000s revival hosted by cult character actor Forest Whitaker remains underrated, with the show offering plenty of more light-hearted and self referential instalments such as the Lukas Haas starring morality tale Harsh Mistress or the Jeremy Piven vehicle The Lineman, which puts the actor's nervy cocksure presence to great use in a classic Twilight Zone "be careful what you wish for" story.
