15 New Fall TV Shows You Need To Know About

2. Son Of Zorn

Falling Water Man With A Plan Son of Zorn
Fox

Probably the strangest show on this list, Son of Zorn will be a blend of live-action and animation, and the story is described as:

"[Son of Zorn] follows an animated warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean, who returns to Orange County, CA, to win back his live-action ex-wife (Cheryl Hines) and teenage son (Johnny Pemberton)."

Yep.

Jason Sudeikis will be lending his vocal talents to the warrior, and really the hope for this one comes from those involved with it: Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. They're executive-producing, and if anyone can make this premise work, it's those two. Eric Appel, who's worked on a number of sitcoms such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl, will be directing at least the pilot.

The trailer for the series is below, and it looks suitably ridiculous, but in a potentially good way.
