15 New Fall TV Shows You Need To Know About

3. The Good Place

Falling Water Man With A Plan Son of Zorn
NBC

Do you wanna build a sitcom?

Kristen Bell is going to the Good Place in the latest comedy offering from the Peacock, where she'll be mentored by co-star Ted Danson. After being fatally hit by a truck containing erectile dysfunction products, Bell's Eleanor goes to the afterlife, and ends up in a wondrous place where everyone is really nice, and it's impossible to curse or get drunk. However, she's there by mistake, and is caught between staying there and returning to her old life.

There's some serious comedy pedigree behind this one, as its created by Mike Schur (co-creator of Parks & Rec and Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and while many fall sitcoms can easily look terrible, this actually seems pretty funny.
