12. The Migrating Bird Poster
Eleven's personality developed significantly by the time Season 3 rolled around as she was finally given the chance to enjoy the normality of her childhood/teenage years. Part of that normality is a bedroom fully decorated like any normal teenage girl's bedroom would be - with loving pictures of boyfriend Mike on the bedside table.
The bird poster that hangs above her bed might seem like an odd choice given that Eleven wasn't particularly portrayed as a wildlife fan, but once you understand the sentimental value of said poster, then you'll understand why she had it.
That poster is the very same one that hung in Mike's basement in the first season. Given that this was Eleven's first normal bedroom, if you will, with special memories of her and Mike's relationship attached to it, it makes total sense that she'd choose to display that iconic poster in her own room.
