15 Times Rick And Morty Was The Best Show On Television

14. Welcome To Anatomy Park!

Continuing the theme of tackling sci-fi tropes, this episode follows the common storyline of characters being shrunk down and going inside someone's body. Except in this case, the person's body has an entire theme park inside it.

Apparently Rick has been building "Anatomy Park" inside some homeless guy's body, complete with rides like Spleen Mountain, Bladder Falls, Pirates of the Pancreas, plus a merry-go-round with cells instead of horses. And because the guy is an alcoholic, his liver is so messed up that they turn it into a haunted house ride, the Haunted Liver.

It's an absolutely ingenious concept, taking a storyline everyone's seen on TV for years but injecting new life into it. Or rather new death, because the writers make it even more interesting by asking what would happen if the guy they were in died? Of course the fight out of the body also allows for some great Jurassic Park jokes, like "Don't move...gonorrhea can't see us if we can't move. Wait I was wrong, I was thinking of a T-rex."
