The Dothraki are more than accustomed to situations getting out of hand quickly. In fact they prefer it that way. Being constantly crossed by a petulant snob by no means threatened Khal Drogo's position but it was bothersome.

Many expected that once Daenerys had grown stronger and more comfortable in her role as Khaleesi, the displaced prince would be exiled or killed. After witnessing their wedding reception in a previous episode we all felt strangely comforted by the level of violence that the Dothraki bring, but when the time came for Viserys to make one last awkward scene it was hard to believe.

Jorah's failed attempt to neutralise the situation accidentally escalates things, and his warning leaves us wondering who will be caught up when it all goes down.

The threat at first seemed small until Viserys himself points out that the Dothraki can't spill blood in their city. The discomfort of a blade to a pregnant woman's stomach was fed into by Drogo's dark reaction. The Khal's apparent acquiescence brought a calmer feeling of dread than the expected whirlwind of violence.

Seizing the young dragon, it was a puzzling few seconds wondering how they would kill him. Lowering his gold belt into a cauldron was actually quite clever on the part of Drogo. What fallowed was a pretty unique and hard to watch execution.

Drogo gets full marks for creativity here and pretty masterfully takes control of the room. Unsettling for many reasons.
