4. Big Little Lies

HBO is known for attracting big names, but there is real star power attached to Big Little Lies, an adaption of Liane Moriarty's novel of the same name.

It's a darkly comedic series about three mothers with young children, whose perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. Those three mothers will be played be Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Laura Dern.

Just incase that wasn't enough A-list talent, though, there's also Alexander Skarsgård (returning to HBO after previously starring in True Blood) as Kidman's husband, James Tupper has Witherspoon's ex, and Shailene Woodley as a young single mother.

This is all brought together by David E. Kelly, one of the few people to create shows for Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS.
