With newcomer Devon Terrell in the lead role, Codes of Conduct will focus on an African-American man trying to make it in New York's high-society. Beverly Snow (Terrell) is a young man from Queens, whose talent and self-confidence although him to break into the city's elite social circles, although he also has a rather mysterious past.

Paul Dano will play the man who introduces him to the world, while Helena Bonham-Carter and Rebecca Hall will feature as two privileged New Yorkers.

The six episode series has been created by Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave) and Matthew Michael Carnahan (World War Z), with McQueen also set to direct, which is great news for anyone who has seen any of his films.
