17 Hidden TV Show Gems On Amazon Prime

6. Hannibal

Orphan Black Clones Tatiana Maslany
NBC

It was announced earlier this year, much to the shock and outrage of its fans (or Fannibals), that the Mads Mikkelson starring drama would be ending after its third season.

Despite critical acclaim and a rabid fanbase, NBC have decided that it isn't worth continuing, due to low ratings. Essentially that means not enough people were watching it, but thanks to Amazon you can relive the experience, or see what all the fuss has been about in the first place.

Talk is still ongoing of a potential fourth season, with Amazon a possible destination for it, so that would be an added bonus as well, but for now you can watch the tale of Dr Hannibal Lecter and FBI investigator Hugh Darcy in all its gory horror. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to Prime members for free, while the third - having only recently finished its run - will presumably be added by the time you've finished those, the dessert to their starter and main course.
