17 Most Exciting New TV Shows You Need To Watch This Fall

3. DC's Legends Of Tomorrow

Not content with having Arrow and The Flash, The CW network will be delivering Legends of Tomorrow this fall. It€™s set to star a whole host of Arrow and Flash alumni (technically making it a spin-off of a spin-off), including Brandon Routh€™s Ray Palmer/Atom, Victor Garber's Prof. Stein/Firestorm, Wentworth Miller€™s Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell€™s Heat Wave, and Caity Lotz€™s Sara Lance/Canary. Arthur Darvill will be Rip Hunter, a time-traveller (and Darvill does have previous in that area) who has seen the future and wants to prevent it from happening. To do so, he rounds up the characters mentioned above, and one or two others, who will be known as the Legends of Tomorrow. They€™ll work together to save the planet and basically stop all of time from collapsing in on itself. It was ordered to series without a pilot, showing that there is a fair amount of confidence in the show (and also an acknowledgement of the fact many of the characters have already been introduced to the target audience). It€™s an interesting concept, featuring some well-liked characters, and if it can replicate the success of its stablemates then it€™ll do well, and open the door for some three-way crossovers (as already evidenced in the trailer below). https://youtu.be/4MubNoWQiSc
