17 Most Exciting New TV Shows You Need To Watch This Fall
14. The Grinder
Starring Rob Lowe as Dean Sanderson, the titular Grinder, who is a successful TV lawyer whose life comes to a bit of a crossroads when his show ends after 8 seasons. He decides to return to his hometown, and help out with his familys real-life law firm - despite having no actual law training or qualifications of any kind whatsoever. Thisll see him butting heads with his brother Stewart - played by Fred Savage - who actually is a lawyer, and just so happens to be married to Deans high school sweetheart. Theres pedigree behind the scenes, with (Bad) Neighbours director Nicolas Stoller set to produce, and Jake Kasdan (New Girl) directing the pilot. The most exciting part, though, is that Lowe looks to be having a lot of fun in the role, and based on the trailer seems to have a good chemistry with Savage. https://youtu.be/9mybEO-Hb0Y
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
