8. Carl's Big Reveal - The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead's mid-season finale made the shocking reveal that Carl (Chandler Riggs) was bitten while escorting Siddiq (Avi Nash) to Alexandria, which he reveals to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) as the episode concludes, leaving audiences on one hell of an agonising cliffhanger.

On the face of it this doesn't seem to be yet another fake-out on the show's part, and while they'll probably drag Carl's death out for as long as possible, it looks like he's set to become a walker imminently and his days are genuinely very much numbered.

That hasn't stopped fans examining the freeze frame of his bite wound, though, to try and figure out some other explanation. Just face it guys, he's toast.
