5. Frank Punishes Rawlins - The Punisher

The Punisher's penultimate episode ends with Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) breaking free from his constraints and meting out bloody vengeance on William Rawlins aka Agent Orange (Paul Schulze).

Frank stabs him in the chest countless times while clearly savouring it, then smacks his face until it's a bloodied chunk of meat, and finishes the job by driving his thumbs into Rawlins' eyeballs.

Considering how little the MCU movies are allowed to get away with violence-wise, this was an incredibly shocking contrast, and one of the most nauseatingly violent TV moments all year. For all of the criticisms that the show glorifies violence, there was absolutely nothing cathartic or enjoyable about this: it was ugly as hell, and rightly so.
