The Defenders may have been a fairly disappointing mini-series all things considered, with one of the chief complaints being that it took too long to get the team together, but once they did start teaming up, it improved immeasurably.

This is evidenced no better than by their glorious first fight scene together at the end of the third episode, where Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Kristen Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) show up at Midland Circle to battle Alexandra's (Sigourney Weaver) goons.

The banter between the heroes and their systematic destruction of the suited thugs is a joy to behold, not to mention the arrival of Black Sky (Elodie Yung) throwing a brief-but-fun spanner into the works.
