Mac's (Rob McElhenney) closeted homosexuality has been one of It's Always Sunny's longest-running gags, and it finally came to a head in season 12's sixth episode, "Hero or Hate Crime?", where Mac finally came out of the closet, seemingly for good.

It's Always Sunny made the moment even more memorable in the only way the show knows how, by having Dennis (Glenn Howerton) reveal Mac's "exercise bike" to the Gang, which has a giant dildo taped into the seat, which thrusts up and down with Mac's pedalling.

Mac, of course, insists it's nothing more than a normal exercise bike, but when the Gang sees the dildo popping in and out of the seat, their reaction is priceless exasperation.
