The third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt isn't quite as great as the first two, lacking a little in focus, but it more than makes up for it as the show confirms it is the biggest, funniest gatling gun-type sitcom on TV, firing of jokes of every conceivable kind in rapid succession. Its sixth episode, Kimmy Is A Feminist, is the best example of that.

The episode is, admittedly, slightly messy in its attempted commentary on feminism, but that doesn't detract too much from the episode as a whole, which manages to be absurdly funny while also advancing Kimmy's character too.

Kimmy goes to her first college party, where she's approached by a boy offering her a sexual consent form, but it's the comedy in how out-of-place Kimmy is that is great here. She's not a college kid, but because of her time in the bunker she's not fully a part of the adult world either, and this is the episode where she really discovers she's somewhere between the two, in a fashion that is hilarious (when told to 'ghost' Perry, she responds with "Whoooo … get out of my amusement park!”) but also speaks to the poignancy of the character.

The other main strand of the episode is pure laugh-out-loud hilarity, as Jacqueline and Titus work together to stop her from sleeping with Russ' brother. The pair bounce off each other brilliantly, with Titus' attempts at playing a straight man especially a weird joy to watch, and it results in a pure comic farce.
