18 Most Memorable Evil Twins In TV History

13. Futurama

Like it's older, more yellow-hued brother The Simpsons, Futurama also threw in a couple of double-acts along the way. Futurama launched the crew of the Planet Express into various alternate universes, where they come across multiverse versions of themselves in 'The Farnsworth Paradox'. This included a blue Zoidberg, Leela and Fry as a happy couple and a gold version of Bender. The question is, which team is the 'evil' team? Unlike most characters and their evil twins, Bender's bling-twin is memorable for getting on with Bender like a house of fire, and becoming inseparable from him by the end of the episode. Finally, you might also remember Bender's other evil twin 'Flexo', who is also distinguished merely by his goatee. Beards aren't coming off well in this.

12. Knight Rider

Apparently, even cars can have evil twins! Our hero KITT in Knight Rider has its own villainous alterego, KARR. KARR was a prototype of KITT, but due to a computing error, it was accidentally programmed to be unstable and rather threatening. Pretty careless. In a pre-Transformers era, clearly audiences everywhere were crying out for more evil vehicles/robots on TV. KARR was so popular after its introduction in the incredibly named 'Trust doesn't Rust' episode, it was brought back for another episode in season 3. KARR is very advanced for a motor vehicle €“ it has actual malignant intentions and seeks revenge for nearly being destroyed in season 1. KARR well deserves its place on this list as it is the only vehicular evil twin, and was a very popular character. KARR's character was developed as a longer standing antagonist in the more recent reboot of Knight Rider in 2008.

11. Sabrina The Teenage Witch

Sabrina The Teenage Witch is easily among the best ever witch-themed shows, refreshingly different in its representation of witches (ie. not warty or overly sexualised) and highly amusing, and the Spellman family has a secret €“ every single member has an evil twin, which has got to win an award in the 'evil twin' stakes. After finding out that she has a twin, Sabrina goes off to meet Katrina. They are inexplicably put through a series of tests to find out which one is the evil twin (they were both were absolutely fine before this revelation, so why bother to find out?), and it starts to look like Sabrina may actually be the more malevolent of the two. Just when it looks like Sabrina may be sent of with all the other evil twins to a prison in 'Twin Cities' in another Realm, Katrina reveals herself to be the sour grape and Sabrina happily gets to go back to high school. All's well that ends well. Katrina may well be a precursor to all of the characters of Mean Girls, memorable for her sass, and evilness on a high school level - she's bitchy, witty and out to ruin Sabrina's life socially.
