In Mindwarp, Trevor Laird plays Frax, a servant of the Mentors. He carries around Sil (also seen in Vengence on Varos) and generally assists in the unethical experiments leading to Peri's kidnapping. In the revived series, meanwhile, he landed a much larger role, of Martha Jones' father, Clive. He appears in three episodes, Smith and Jones, The Sound of The Drums and Last of the Time Lords, the latter of which shows him reuniting with Martha's mother, Francine.
