20 Best Batman TV Episodes Ever
11. 'Ace Chemicals' (Gotham)
Gotham was no stranger to using Batman mythology in order to recreate classic comic book moments before they were destined to happen. Unusual? Maybe, but that was basically the whole show it a nutshell... and most of the time, it made for bloody brilliance.
One of the last examples of that came in the show's final season as, deep in the heart of its 'No Man's Land' arc, The Dark Knight and the Clown Prince of Crime went head-to-head in Ace Chemicals. The only difference was that Bruce hadn't become Batman and Jeremiah was only at his sort-of-but-not-really-Joker stage.
In spite of all that, 'Ace Chemicals' was like watching a comic book unfold before your very eyes as the show delivered a moment it had been teasing for a very long time, and the performances of Cameron Monaghan and David Mazouz were nothing short of captivating.
