10 years after Planet Earth, the David Attenborough-narrated documentary - which could well be a drama, such is the exciting narrative it presents (except this is REAL LIFE) - returned for a thrilling, astonishing second run.

Every episode had its moment - the racer snakes, the flamingos etc - but what really set Cities apart is that the finale didn't just have one memorable, watercooler moment.

It didn't even have just two. Or three. You see where this is going. This episode was absolutely filled with unbelievable sights. From a leopard in Mumbai, witnessed through night vision, giving chase to a pig, to hatchling turtles scurrying towards their death, and starlings soaring over Rome like a Renaissance painting, to the bowerbird on a golf course trying to attract a mate with a plastic heart it stole (only to discover it was, actually, another male).

It was gripping, emotional, thought-provoking, and very important viewing.
