20 Best TV Shows Of 2019
3. BoJack Horseman
BoJack Horseman only received half a season in 2019, with the other half set to arrive in January 2020. Knowing BoJack, it will probably deliver a crushing blow, but at least it will be entertaining as it breaks our hearts.
This half season saw BoJack working on himself, going through rehab, quitting booze and finally making something of himself. It also gave huge focus to the supporting characters, including a finale which dealt with all the women BoJack had hurt along the way.
He seems to be genuinely getting better, but you can only outrun your past for so long.
BoJack’s involvement in Sarah Lynn’s death is set to blow up in the final season, as well as his inappropriateness with Penny. However much he’s earned our sympathy, we can’t hide from the fact he’s definitely hurt people along the way.
Come next January, that list of people will probably include us, too.
