18. Masters Of The Universe: Revelation
From the mind of Kevin Smith, Master of the Universe: Revelation is a sequel to the classic 80s He-Man series, and one that does an almost impossible thing by being endlessly entertaining for both new and old fans alike.
Crafted with glistening visuals and a superb voice cast which includes the likes of Mark Hamill, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lena Heady, the series is both action-packed and self-aware, given the world of Eternia an atmosphere that feels simultaneously fresh and nostalgic.
It may be better suited to fans of the original, but Revelation's smart and amusing take on its predecessor's characters and influence is easily digestible for all, and its progressive narrative tropes only make it that much more engrossing.
Though there's currently no word on a season two renewal, here's to hoping Netflix doesn't drop the ball and cut it loose just yet.
