With the time-travelling Rip Hunter now confirmed for the Arrow/Flash spin-off show, that opens up a wealth of opportunities for other “from the future” type characters. One such character is that of loveable rogue Booster Gold.

When it was revealed that the upcoming spin-off show would be featuring a cocky traveller from the future, many actually presumed that it would end up actually being Booster. Instead it was obviously Rip Hunter.

The cock-sure, arrogant Booster Gold has appeared in live-action before, having turned up during Smallville’s run. And while it might have been cheesy and all a little bit cringe-worthy, it was still massively entertaining to see Booster Gold brought to life on screens.

Considering that Rip Hunter is often portrayed as a mentor and associate of Booster’s, don’t rule out an appearance from this brash, bright, big-headed hero at some point during Arrow or The Flash’s next seasons. Any chance to bring Booster Gold to life is one that should be taken.
