Russell Tovey, best known for such varied roles as George the werewolf in Being Human and layabout Steve in Him & Her, was once toted as the best man for the role of the Eleventh Doctor by Russell T Davies.so it is no surprise that the producer cast him in Doctor Who. The third cast member on this list from that episode, Tovey played Midshipman Alonso Frame in Voyage Of The Damned. He memorably allowed the Doctor to finally say "Allons-y, Alonso!" Tovey later reprised the role in David Tennant's final episode The End Of Time where the Doctor sets him up with a forlorn Captain Jack in a bar. Tovey later appeared as Henry Knight, the tormented man who believes his father was murdered by a giant dog in Sherlock's The Hounds of Baskerville.
