20 Flawless TV Character Arcs
13. Ahsoka Tano - The Clone Wars
When The Clone Wars started, it was easy to dismiss it as a silly animated series far removed from the movies that gave it life. After all, it originally aired on Cartoon Network. But it soon proved, from its second season onward, to be far more than a disposable spin-off; it was the show Star Wars had been waiting for.
Dark and violent, The Clone Wars took place before Revenge of the Sith, and followed the clone conflict with intimate detail, in which Anakin Skywalker comes to train and care for a padawan called Ahsoka Tano. It's Ahsoka who stole the show, starting out as brash and inexperienced before growing into a seasoned warrior.
Through Ahsoka, who suffers insurmountable loss and is ultimately betrayed by the very system she fought for, The Clone Wars reached its peaked, as another piece of the franchise's tragic puzzle was unveiled. She was wonderfully entertaining, and the finale hammered her journey home as one of the franchise's best.
