20 Greatest Arrowverse Villains

15. Deadshot

The Legion Of Doom
The CW

One of DC comics’ most underrated villains, the laconic, amoral hitman Floyd Lawton - aka the world’s greatest marksman Deadshot - didn’t have the greatest of starts in the Arrowverse. The idea that a professional assassin would have tattooed the names of all of his victims on his torso is ludicrous, to say the least.

However, Michael Rowe is a fine actor, rising above that little hiccup to give us a Lawton - conflicted, self-loathing and cynical - as contradictory as the character and his fans deserve.

A sniper of astonishing accuracy, Deadshot was no slouch hand-to-hand either, controlling and subduing the much larger John Diggle in moments.

But it’s the menace that makes him so memorable. Rowe brought a sense of danger and that slightly out-of-control element that all the best iterations of this marvellous villain have had in spades.
