Spock. That single name is enough to bring an image to the mind of any Star Trek fan, science fiction aficionado, or even casual TV viewer. A true cultural icon as portrayed by Leonard Nimoy, Spock is the only character to appear in every episode of the original Star Trek series. He was also in every animated episode, all six movies featuring the original cast, and a two-part episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the rebooted Star Trek movie series, Spock is played by both Zachary Quinto as that universe€™s Spock, and Nimoy, who returns as the original Spock to provide a sort of bridge between incarnations of the franchise.
