7. Starfleet Uniforms – Star Trek: Discovery
Gersha Phillips' Starfleet uniforms featured in Star Trek: Discovery are some of the most distinctive takes on the iconic costumes.
Early explorations of these costumes featured full-body division color uniforms as well as two piece, short sleeve, and jumpsuit versions.
By the time production commenced, Phillips would settle on navy blue uniforms heavily influenced by the coveralls from Star Trek: Enterprise, abandoning the traditional Starfleet color scheme for metallic division colors. Phillips' costume department would later revisit the traditional red, yellow, and blue division color uniforms for the second season appearance of Captain Pike and the USS Enterprise.
