Audiences unanimously declare that Andre Braugher's deadpan delivery as Holt is hilarious, but the actor himself is not convinced. Coming from a background in hard drama, Braugher says he feels slightly out of place at a table filled with funny people. When asked if he will ever find Captain Holt funny, he replied, "In retrospect I'll be able to. Yes. History will finally confirm that was a funny episode for me." His unintentional, but very Holt-like answer, left the interviewer in stitches.
