For most people around the world, Soft Kitty is actually known as Warm Kitty, with the lyrics being written down by Edith Newlin in the 1930s. So how did it come to be used in the Big Bang Theory you may ask? Well, producer Bill Prady has said that his daughter sang Soft Kitty while at her pre-school and he liked it that much he brought the song to the show.
